While you wait
- Stay calm and stay with the patient.
- Do not give food or water to someone who is drowsy, confused or unconscious.
- If there is bleeding, press firmly on the wound with a clean cloth.
- If an injury to the neck or back is possible, don't move the person unless they are in danger.
- Note when the symptoms started; it helps the doctors.
