Step by step
How cashless works
- 1
Bring your documents
Your insurance card or e-card, policy number and a photo ID. For RGHS, CGHS or MAA Yojana, your scheme card.
- 2
Pre-authorisation
The hospital sends a pre-authorisation request to your insurer or TPA with the doctor's treatment plan.
- 3
Approval
Your insurer or TPA decides what is covered and how much. Planned treatment can be pre-approved before admission.
- 4
Discharge
Covered costs are settled directly with the insurer. You pay only for items your policy doesn't cover.
