Medical records and reports
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Your medical records belong to your care. You have the right to see them and to get copies.
Test reports
Laboratory and imaging reports are given at the hospital. You can also ask for a report on WhatsApp (+91 74140 01001): send the patient's name and the date of the test. Reports are shared only with the patient, or with someone the patient has authorised.
Discharge summary
Every admitted patient receives a discharge summary when they go home. It lists the diagnosis, the treatment and procedures done, medicines to continue, and when to come back.
Copies of your medical records
To get copies of your case papers or other records:
- Ask at the hospital's front desk or medical records department, or email [email protected].
- Give the patient's name, the dates of the visit or admission, and photo ID. If you are asking for someone else, bring their written authorisation, or proof that you are their legal representative.
- We acknowledge your request and give the copies within 72 hours, as medical regulations require.
A reasonable charge for photocopying may apply.
How long records are kept
The hospital keeps records of admitted patients for at least 3 years, as medical regulations require, and longer where the law requires it, for example in medico-legal cases.
Confidentiality
We share your records only with the people involved in your care, with your insurer or scheme for a claim you have asked us to make, or where the law requires it. See our Privacy policy.
